Senior Manager, Finance

Responsibilities:
The candidate will support the Advanced Power Project Development and Finance team. Core duties will include:
- support Vice President, Finance in negotiating the financings of projects under development
- support the raise of limited or non-recourse debt financing
- develop and maintain project financing models and coordinate with the development team on the input assumptions
- manage/run various sensitivity analysis to support the capital raise
- assist with term sheet negotiation and execution of legal transaction documentation
- oversee capital raise pipelines and identify new partner or financing relationships
- own and improve project financial models
- mentor group of associates and analysts

- monitor and report on key outputs from the models maintained
- work with internal business units to streamline financial models (update input assumptions, automation, efficiency, etc.) in addition to managing the maintenance of the financial models
- manage workflows through oversight of analysts on the Project Finance team
- specialize in structuring models for utility scale PV photovoltaic and battery storage assets
- work cross functionally with Feasibility, Development, Engineering, Legal, and Asset Management teams to optimize financing solutions
- perform project-level financial due diligence, as needed, across various functional groups including EPC, O&M, asset management, interconnection, real estate, permitting and environmental, and insurance
- oversee the creation and maintenance of information memorandums and data rooms during active capital raise
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is required, MBA or CFA preferred. Preferably in finance, economics, engineering, accounting, or related field. The candidate is expected to have at least 5-7 years of work experience in M&A, project finance, accounting, or financial modeling. Additional requirements:
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint including complex formulas and macros
- proven ability to create and maintain financial models including debt and equity financing models for conventional and renewable financings including tax equity and power purchase agreement(PPA)/hedge modeling
- proven record of mentoring analysts, leading due diligence and legal documentation review
- knowledge of ISO/RTO energy markets is preferred
- highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- quick learner and strong problem-solving skills
- ability to effectively perform within a matrix organizational environment
